Community Outreach

Local 161-710 is committed to furthering live music in Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas. We actively seek partnerships with corporations, local and state governments, nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, other unions and associations to ensure that live music remains a vital part of our community. 

Additionally, we provide Senior Center performance opportunities funded by the Music Performance Trust Fund, and scholarship opportunities for students living in the Local 161-710 jurisdiction.
