IBIS FLIES NORTH! IBIS Returns to Wellfleet Our inaugural concert in Wellfleet's newly restored Preservation Hall July 21, 2011 7:30 pm   IBIS Chamber Music Society We continue our tradition of contributing to our wonderful summer community of Wellfleet, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Two summers ago IBIS held a fundraising concert for Preservation Hall, a new community space in the heart of downtown Wellfleet.  Now we inaugurate this beautiful new space with a classic IBIS program: The romantic Saint-Saens Fantaisie for Violin and Harp, Francaix's quirky Quintette, a flute quartet by Mozart, and, in celebration of a certain movie release, Joe's own arrangement of the John Williams' score to "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban".  This concert helps Preservation Hall retire their debt. SAVE THE DATE!  Our annual fall fundraiser/houseparty is scheduled for Sunday evening, September 11, 2011 at the magnificent, art-filled home of Jan and Elizabeth Lodal.  Romantic music will be provided by IBIS musicians paired with their spouses.
